Utuado Chess Club Inc. («we», «us», «our») operates the website utuadochessclub.com and the Facebook Pages «Utuado Chess Club», «A Tu Alcance», and «Stefan Janiel Marin Rivera». This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with our automated content publishing system (the «ATuAlcance Poster» Facebook application).

Information We Collect

The ATuAlcance Poster application does not collect, store, or process personal data from end users. The application operates exclusively on Facebook Pages owned and administered by Utuado Chess Club Inc. and its founder, Stefan Marin.

The application accesses only the following data through the Meta Graph API:

Facebook Page IDs and Page access tokens for pages owned by our administrator, used to publish posts on those pages
Public chess game data from Chess.com and Lichess APIs (not Facebook user data) for generating chess-related content
Public news articles from Puerto Rico news RSS feeds for generating news commentary content

How We Use Information

The application uses Facebook Page access tokens solely to:

Publish text posts containing chess news and Puerto Rico news commentary
Upload video content (chess tutorials, puzzle videos, news reels) to our Facebook Pages
Retrieve basic page information to verify token validity

We do not access, read, or interact with posts, messages, or data from other Facebook users or pages that we do not own.

Data Storage and Security

Facebook Page access tokens are stored in an encrypted environment file on a private server accessible only to the application administrator. The application does not maintain a database of user information, does not transmit data to third parties, and does not retain copies of published content beyond what is necessary for duplicate-prevention (content history files containing only content identifiers and timestamps).

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, trade, or transfer any data to third parties. All content published by the application is publicly visible on our Facebook Pages as part of normal social media posting.

Content Sources and Attribution

News content is generated using artificial intelligence summaries of publicly available news articles, with links back to the original source included in each post. Chess content is generated using publicly available Chess.com and Lichess API data for tournaments and puzzles, and includes proper attribution where applicable.

Data Retention

The application retains only:

Encrypted Facebook Page access tokens for the purpose of authenticating API requests
Content deduplication history (URLs and dates of previously posted content) for up to 90 days
Application logs for troubleshooting purposes, retained for 30 days

User Rights

Because this application does not process personal data from Facebook users beyond our own administrator’s account, individual user requests regarding personal data do not typically apply. However, if you believe that content published by our Pages infringes on your rights, please contact us using the information below.

Data Deletion

To request deletion of any data associated with your interaction with our Facebook Pages (such as comments you have posted on our content), please email us at utuadochessclub@gmail.com with your request. We will respond within 30 days.

Children’s Privacy

Our application and Facebook Pages are intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in applicable jurisdictions).

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
